Preliminary
Professional Guidance
Your journey begins through your initial contact with us. There are 3 key pieces of information that we require from you to assist with your enquiry; Type of event/Date of event/Style of dress. Once we have received this information from you we can get back to you with our availability & an approximate quote for your chosen design. If after obtaining our reply you wish to proceed further, we can then invite you in for an informative consultation with our designer, Rima Tadmory.
The Consultation lasts up to 2 hours; and in this session you will be given design advice, build on your ideas, and view our vast collection of bridal laces. We hope that you leave the appointment with an informative understanding & clear concept of how we can bring your dress to life. Email us now on info@rimatadmory.com to get started!
Order
Lasting Impact
Upon visiting us & taking the wonderful decision in placing an order; we require confirmation of this by securing a dress slot by making a 10% (non refundable) deposit from your dress total. Once payment has been made & order confirmed, we will then commence on the sketch of your design. This includes all side notes to accompany your dress specifications. This will be sent out to you within 7 working days of placing your order with us.
Beginning
Creating Dreams
Pattern Drafting - Toile Fittings - Fabric Sourcing; where the fun begins! We will draft the pattern for your design and create a working toile to your gown specifications to achieve the best desired fit for your body measurements. This stage allows you the opportunity to be involved with the tailoring of your dress and to see first hand how it will adorn your figure prior to the actual making using your chosen fabrics. Ordering the fabrics from our mill will be high on our priority list at this stage to allow sufficient time for the making and delivery of your laces. In some cases, we may need to source your fabrics from various boutiques around the UK that calls for a personalised shopping trip with the client.
Making
Once the toile fittings are successfully out the way & to your satisfaction, work will commence on the making of your actual gown. Cutting out the chosen fabrics & bringing your dress to life from the flat pattern pieces to three dimensional beauty. This stage involves roughly 3-4 fittings, with each fitting focusing on one main element to the dress. We commence on your bodice first, followed by the skirt, the third would be to marry the two together & finally introducing any layering and appliqué work that you may have chosen for your design.
Collection
Complete Perfection
Having reached the end of your experience with us, we will have hopefully left you with nothing short of perfection. When you leave us with your bespoke Rima Tadmory garment; we promise to keep your secret until after the special day. We pride ourselves in keeping your design confidential, and will not disclose or show the completed garment before your event date passes.
